Fungi @ Trash Lamb Gallery!

My inspiration for SDDW 2022 is Mushrooms or to be clear, the gills of mushrooms

See the work of artist, Rachel Ehlin-Smith at Trash Lamb Gallery! Using silk and horsetail hair, Rachel creates sculptural works inspired by the gills of mushrooms. Rachel is a local fiber artist working with natural, locally-sourced materials. She’s an expert weaver making work using a variety of techniques such as Shibori hand dyeing, Japanese binding, and natural dying.

Her work will be on view at Trash Lamb Gallery in a walk-up window installation with a special reception on Saturday, September 24.
