About this event

Honouring moon magic: understanding the energy of the moon and the potential for healing at this time.

About this event

“Any ritual is an opportunity for transformation. To do a ritual, you must be willing to be transformed in some way. The inner willingness is what makes the ritual come alive and have power.” - Starhawk⁣

When we sit in sacred space with each other we cement our unity and amplify our feminine power, we create a powerful wave of love and transformation that ripples onto our families, communities, and the greater collective.

Sacred Sister Circle is a non-judgemental space, where femme identifying and gender nonconforming folx can feel witnessed and supported. Everything that happens in a circle remains privately in the circle, this is an opportunity to be vulnerable, to truly open up, share, and allow your authentic self to be seen.

The first Sacred Sister Circle will be themed around the heart. We will practise rituals for soothing heartbreak, loss, disappointment, failure or grief that have led to emotional blocks and wounds to our heart space. We will sit in a circle together to release and recalibrate in order to open up and reconnect authentically.

Why do we practice moon rituals?

Moon rituals are an ancient and sacred practice that have origins in Egypt, Babylonia, India, and China. In ancient communities, moon circles came to be used to call in the divine feminine as a way of sharing and receiving higher wisdom and building solidarity. The spring Flower Moon rises Sunday, May 15, we will harness the potent energy in communal ritual and personal reflection.

The circle will be guided by Buki Fadipe through a series of rituals and practises including:
